Since 1939, the German-American Marksmanship Club, or DASV, has been a staple of the German community in Metro Detroit providing a social outlet for German-Americans and those looking to preserve German heritage.The DASV maintains age old German traditions, holding an annual Schützenfest where a Schützenkönig is crowned, a Schlachtfest (old German recipe dinner) and an authentic Oktoberfest.
We hold monthly meetings, offering marksmanship competitions and home cooked meals.
Our club is centered around German culture, camaraderie and marksmanship.
- The DASV is affiliated with the German American Cultural Center and the National Rifle Association.
- We are also a Michigan United Conservation Clubs affiliate.
Membership to the DASV is $65 per year for an entire family. This gives you the ability to shoot on our range in our competitions and to purchase alcohol in our club.
