What is happening at the D.A.SV.
Members Award Luncheon
A potluck luncheon held in January to honor members for their years of membership and distinguished service to the Club.
Bockbierfest
An indoor festival open to the public, typically the first major club event of the year held in April, to gather and celebrate the arrival of Bockbier, a traditional Bavarian beer that is dark in color and generally has a malty character with a caramel and roasted flavor that finishes slightly sweet.
Maibaum Dedication
The Maibaum, also known as the Maypole, is a tall, decorated tree or pole traditionally erected in Germany and Austria an May 1st or the eve of May Day. It symbolizes spring, fertility, and the reawakening of life. The Maibaum is often adorned with ribbons, wreaths, and guild signs. At the D.A.S.V., we have a ceremony that officially opens our outdoor festival and marksmanship season.
